Biography:

April Harris is a native of Warren, AR and graduate of Warren High School's honors program.

She continued her education at UAM where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

She later obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, specializing in Family Medicine.

During her tenure at these institutions of higher education she graduated with high honors and recognitions.

Because of April's experience in a variety of specialties she is able to offer a unique blend of vision and knowledge.

April is a member of Chi Chi Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Nursing Sorority, Inc. where it is there goal to up lift the plane of nursing and provide service for humanity.

Bradley County Medical Center Named Most Socially Responsible Critical Access Hospital in Arkansas


Bradley County Medical Center has been recognized by the Lown Institute for outstanding performance, earning the #1 ranking in Arkansas for social responsibility and receiving “A” grades across multiple categories in the 2025-26 Lown Institute Hospitals Index.

BCMC ranked #1 among 19 critical access hospitals in Arkansas and 88th nationally for social responsibility, reflecting strong performance across more than 800 critical access hospitals evaluated nationwide. According to the Index, Bradley County Medical Center also received “A” ratings in Health Equity, Value of Care, Inclusivity, and Cost Efficiency. The Lown Institute Hospitals Index is an independent assessment, and hospitals do not apply or pay to be included.
